'Geburtstag' is German for 'Birthday' which makes GeburtstagsChecker an application that checks for upcoming birthdays and reminds you of them to avoid potential embarrassment if your memory is rather weak. In doing this, GeburtstagsChecker aims to be both customisable and easy to use. It allows you to import birthday information and the display of upcoming birthdays is highly customisable, allowing you to decide which of the information (e.g. birthdate, age, days until birthday etc.) you want to see and how it should be displayed. GeburtstagsChecker was designed to interfere as little as possible with the daily use of your Macintosh. After you've taken notice of the information GeburtstagsChecker's window can be dismissed with just one click of your mouse. The program can be made quit automatically after this but it is equally suitable to run permanently in the background and catch your attention whenever new birthdays approach. But GeburtstagsChecker is more than just a birthday reminder: Of course, it can be used for other annual events such as anniversaries, public holidays etc. as well.

You can also enter a specific time for the alarm to sound, as opposed to a delay time. If, for example you have to leave at 13h45 for an appointment: type "1345" on the numeric keypad while pressing Option. On a laptop, hold the keys Fn Opt, and type the desired time on the virtual numerical keypad (not the keyboard numerals). Minuteur calculates the remaining time. The hour can be entered as 3 or 4 digits. The time cannot exceed 12 hours.
You may enter a time beyond midnight. If the Mac goes to sleep during a countdown, the countdown will not be stopped, but nor will the Mac be woken if it is still asleep at alarm time.
Minuteur can also be used in stopwatch mode. To start the count, click the blue button or press Option+Return/Enter. The program then emits a sound each minute if the option "Sound effects" is checked. It is also possible to adjust the time in stopwatch mode by dragging the rule. To stop, click on the red button or press Enter, Return or Esc. Timing is limited to 12 hours. To change between timer mode and stopwatch mode you must first stop.
This useful Mac-only program places a fully functional calendar on your desktop. The look is completely customizable. You can change the calendar's font, size, and the colors used to draw the calendar; the background can be entirely transparent, so you can still see your desktop picture; you can center the current week (so you are always able to look back and ahead a full month at a time). PandoCalendar can display the numerical number of the weeks of the year, display the calendar with European style weeks (Monday being the first day and Sunday being the last), assign notes to any day of the year by clicking on the day in the calendar, and set alarms to remind you of time sensitive events. You can also have PandoCalendar automatically plot the days you work. Great for people who don't have a Monday-Friday work schedule!

This means SOHO Organizer presents a first-class Mac OS X experience complete with all the features Mac OS X users expect: Aqua interface, Unicode compliance, built-in spell checking, Service support, etc. Finally, the true benefit of a complete Cocoa rewrite is that SOHO Organizer is built for the future and can easily accommodate future technologies (think Intel-based Macs).
SOHO Organizer makes managing customer relationships from phone calls and notes to appointments and to-dos easy. It embraces and leverages popular Mac OS X technologies and applications instead of trying to replace them. For example, it synchronizes seamlessly with the Address Book and iCal so that users can continue to use them and other applications that rely on their data. Users can thus use Apple's iSync to synchronize their contacts and calendars in SOHO Organizer to cell phones, iPods, Palm handhelds, and even .Mac.
